  1.            Whenever Google Drive was first launched, it serves as a place to store your files in the cloud so that they could be accessed anywhere anytime. As Drive has developed, it has assimilated the rules of Google Docs and now serves as the root hub for all Google documents and office tools. You can  also  install apps into Drive to expand its functionality even more further. Get the  Google Drive by following this guide.

  •  Sign into the Google Drive website through your Google account:                                           If you don’t have a Google account, you can create one for no cost. Google Drive will provide you to store your files in the cloud, and at the same time to create documents and forms through the Google Drive web interface.
  •  Add files to your drive:                                                                                                                    There are two comfortable ways to add files to your google drive. You can also create Google Drive documents, or you can upload files from your pc. To create a new file, click the CREATE button. To upload a file, click the “Up Arrow” button next to the CREATE button.
  • Change the way your files are viewed:                                                                                           You can make a choice to display files by large icons (Grid) or as a list (List). The List mode will display you at a glance the owner of the document and when it was  previously modified. The Grid mode will exhibit each file as a preview of its first page. You can alter the mode by clicking the buttons beside to the gear icon in the upper right corner of the page.
  • Use the navigation bar  to browse your required files:                                                          You can pull and drop files and folders around your Drive to arrange them as you see them good.Tick the check box to select multiple files and folders. You can then accomplish actions for these selected files by clicking the buttons at the top of the pagefile. If you are using the large icon display, the check box appears when you move your mouse over the document. There are more options in the “More” menu.Click the Folder icon with a “+” sign to create a new folder in your Drive provided. You can create folders inside another folders to arrange your required files.“My Drive” is where all of your uploaded files and folders will be stored. “Shared with Me” are documents and files that have been shared with you by other Drive users. “Starred” files  shows you have marked as important, and “Recent” files are the files  you have most recently edited.
  • Search for files:                                                                                                                       You can search through your Google Drive documents and folders using the search bar at the top of your page. Google Drive will search through titles, content, and owners. If a file is found with the exact term in the title, it will appear under the search bar as you type so that you can quickly select it.                                                                    NOTE: 
  • Download the app for your mobile device. You can download the Google Drive app for your Android or iOS device which allows you to access your files from your phone or tablet. The app can be downloaded for free from your app store. The app may not have all of the same editing features as the browser version.   WARNINGS:

    • Do not download Google Drive for Android from an unverified source. It is recommended to use Google Play Store, Amazon app store, or similar services.
    • Never give out your password to anyone; it can result in loss of your account.
    • Do not share your files with unknown people. You can choose your privacy settings.
    • If you move your drive folder, migrate to a new computer, or have to replace the hard drive your folder is on, you will need to re-download everything again from the cloud. There is no support or work around from Google for this. Search for "This is not your original Google Drive folder" to see. This can be a real problem if you have a data cap on your connection.

      • While uploading files to Google Drive Android app, it is recommended to use a wi-fi connection for better speed and lower data charges.
